Terms of Use

1. Parties and subject of the agreement

These terms govern the use of the Pysar application ("the app", "Pysar") and the purchase of a licence for it. Sales are handled by a payment provider acting as merchant of record; the developer and rights holder of the app is FOP Yefremenko Dmytro Kostiantynovych (individual entrepreneur, see Contact).

2. Licence

After payment you receive a personal, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use Pysar on the terms below.

• The licence is tied to a major version. A paid licence is valid for life for the purchased major version (for example, all 1.x updates) and includes free fixes and new features within that version. Moving to the next major version (for example, 2.0) may be offered as a separate paid upgrade; we will announce this in advance.
• Personal use. The licence is issued to you personally, not to a specific device; you may install it on a limited number of your own devices.
• Restrictions. Without our written consent you may not: resell or transfer the licence key to third parties; bypass or decompile the licence check; use the app to build a competing product.

3. Free trial

Before purchase, a free trial with no feature limits is available; its length and conditions are described on the purchase page. The trial is not part of the paid licence and does not extend it.

4. Price and payment

The price is shown on the purchase page and is charged once, with no automatic renewal or hidden fees. Payment is handled by the payment provider; sales taxes (VAT/sales tax), where applicable, are included in the final price by the provider.

5. Your software and data

The audio, transcripts and notes you create in Pysar are processed locally on your device and belong solely to you. If you turn on note sync, encrypted copies of your notes are stored off the device, in your cloud folder or on our server; the encryption key is derived from your password and stays with you. We do not get access to this content; see the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Warranties and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties other than those expressly required by law that cannot be excluded by contract (in particular, mandatory consumer guarantees under the law of your country of residence). We do not guarantee that speech recognition will be error-free under all conditions; accuracy depends on the microphone quality, background noise and the chosen model.

Our liability for direct damages caused by a breach of these terms is limited to the amount you actually paid for the licence. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, except where such a limitation of liability is prohibited by applicable law.

7. Updates and support

Updates within the purchased major version are delivered free of charge through the built-in update check. Support is provided by email at the address listed on the Contact page.

8. Termination

We may suspend the licence in the event of a material breach of these terms (for example, distributing the licence key) after a prior written warning. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your devices.

9. Right of withdrawal and refunds

9.1. Within 14 days of payment you may withdraw from the agreement without giving a reason and get back the full amount you paid. This right still applies after you have downloaded the app or activated the licence key.

9.2. We do not ask you to give up this right when you pay, and we do not use the exception for digital content in Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

9.3. The refund is issued by the payment provider to the same payment method you used. How to make a request is described on the Refunds page. After a refund the licence key is deactivated.

9.4. After the 14 days have passed, you keep the rights that the law of your country of residence gives you.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence, if you are a consumer within the meaning of applicable EU law or the law of your country.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page always shows the latest update. We will notify you by email of material changes that affect a licence you have already bought.
